Linx panel quality problems

has been 10 days that I returned from a trip to find the alarm system not working there was not any messages, it tells me there is not anyone monitoring or something was definitely with the system. I contacted the Northstar technical staff by chat because no one answer the phone and I was instructed on how to troubleshoot the panel that was just lit but not showing anything after two days I was told that it would cost me 99.00 dollars to have a technician check the system. The new panel was installed 3 weeks ago repacing the older model which lasted years. I believe that the service should be provided at no charge or cancel the services for bad quality.
