Life Endangering Legalities

1

In January 2018, my son had a stroke. He was diagnosed with diabetes. Thankfully, he is recovering. Being new to the "sugar free" scene, I made the mistake of buying Mrs Butterworth's Sugar Free Syrup. I thought it would be safe to make him some almond meal pancakes. When his sugar skyrocketed well over 200, l checked the label and found corn syrup listed in the ingredients. On their Facebook page, I commented on how dangerous this deception was for people with health problems. Their reply stated that they had the legal right to label their product in this manner because corn syrup is not sugar. I feel this mentality is completely ruthless.
