lend america just wanted you to know, we are very very discouraged with lend america, this refinance has by far been the hardest that we have ever encountered. when we refinance the last time, we closed in 10 days and had everything complete in a total of 13 days, i have been messing with lend america since march 29th, which is 38 days and we still are not complete. your company has seriously dropped the ball on this one, lend america has asked me to provide info, i did immediately, your company has asked me to make a house payment, i did immediately, your company asked me to catch the wifes student loan payment up immediately, i did. but now since we have signed the closing papers, we are getting strung along. when you and I first talked on march 29th, you said most closings happen within 10 days, then when we spoke last friday you said we would have disbursements on thursday the 7th (after the 3 day wait period) when the lawyer was here at my house for closing last week on friday, he recieved a call from jeremy, jeremy asked him if we were signing, and the lawyer told him we were, and jeremy told the lawyer to tell us that disbursement will be on the 5th. then i dont hear anymore till i email you yesterday and ask about the fedex delivery,then i get a call from patty telling me she made a mistake, and we needed to sign new paperwork,,,, WHAT A CROCK, seems that if there was a mistake made on the paperwork, it should have been caught before yesterday (may 7th the day we should have recieved checks). i also found out that after all the title work and all the searching that your company has done, that a mistake was made with the payoff of my current mortgage, so now your company had to take about $1000 more of my cash out to make the mortgage payment. you and i have spoken many times about my prior title company must not have done a complete job for me on my past refinancing, but in fact seems that lend america has dropped the ball and not done a complete search for payoffs. AND THEN I FIND OUT TODAY 5-09-09 THAT THE MONEY YOUR COMPANY SAID THEY MADE A MISTAKE AND HAD TO SEND MORE TO THE CURRENT LENDER, IDS ALSO A CROCK, I CALLED MY CURRENT LENDER AND THEY SAID YOU SENT WAY TOO MUCH MONEY FOR THE PAYOFF, now i am stuck paying interest on those extra dollars. i recieved papers from patty yesterday around 1:00 pm and had them faxed back to manny by 3:30, patty said when manny recieves the paperwork he will make the disbursements immediately. i called manny yesterday around 4:30 and he said he sent the papers to the people that write the checks, and i asked if he could see if the checks would go out today (5-7-09) (yesterday) and he said he was ready to go home and could not answer that question, and for me to call back tomorrow (5-8-09) (today). fedex has come and gone today 5-8-09 and no checks , i called manny back today at 1:15 and he told me he would put in a request for a tracking number, and for me to call back in 15 minutes , i waited almost 45 and called back, manny told me the person he sent the email too has not responded to the email. as much as i paid your company for this refinance, you would think that i could atleast get a direct answer, or not to miss a deadline. this whole transaction has been 1 big pain in my families butt. you and i have worked together pretty well, seems to me that the problem is in the closing department, because thats where all the problems have started. i can not and will not reccomend lend america to friends or other family, i cant understand how lend america can have so many problems and delays and still be a viable company. i sued a direct lender once about 5 years ago, and found them to be predatory lenders, in the end i recieved my home free and clear, the lender was found guilty of unfair practices. i think im going down this same road once again, these are the same lying, cheating,practices the prior lender was doing with me, i beat them in court and i am sure you will lose also.
