When one of the victims of Chris Lang's site redd-monitor exposed his arrest record in the UK, Lang's response was, "I've been arrested in the UK for demonstrations against destructive logging...I was arrested several times at protests at Twyford Downs... if that gives me a criminal background, then it's one that I'm proud of." This was even before his degree and short-lived career in architecture - which was a failure. He then attended Oxford to obtain a degree in Forestry. He's never actually done any work as a forester, but I'm sure his certification has helped him gain credibility amongst the radical left wing environmentalists. This demonstrates that Lang has long held the belief that the ends justify the means. That he is more than willing to openly defy the law. That he does not care about the damage caused by his actions - whether to persons or property at active demonstrations, or to businesses, jobs, and reputations through his postings. He did, however, learn from those early experiences, that physical actions have physical consequences (arrests). He has now retreated to the safety of the internet and hides his physical location to avoid personal and legal repercussions for his acts. Like the typical radical coward, he no longer has the nerve to personally stand up for his claimed cause - instead using inflammatory rhetoric to incite others to action. A failed architect. A forester only in theory. If you read his convoluted blogs' attempts to discredit corporations and deter potential investors, he would have you believe that he is also an expert in international business and finance. Lang learned early from his fellow radical environmentalists that you don't have to actually work to make a lot of money. You need only to convince (mislead) others to contribute to your "cause." You don't need to actually create anything, you can profit from the destruction of others. Indeed, you can make a fortune getting people to pay you to continue your environmental rants, or to stop the rants that target them.xxxx
