Jordan Orange plays the tyrant corporate telecom monopoly role as it is only land line ISP in Jordan that any client desires to acquire land line phone and ADSL line service. Jordan Orange Telecom is very deceptive as they lure their clients into signing yearly contract that they cannot even come close to deliver on what they mention in their contracts with minimum service levels. Our disaster experience started on the 1st week of the contract: 1- Jordan Orange took more than two weeks to make good on the initial commitment of within 3 days. 2- Parental control service was requested initially at the time of signing the ISP contract, however the service was NOT functioning and after many support calls the net connection was entirely out. 3- The initial land line number was completely incorrect and after several support request calls, the phone number was corrected by re-assigning a new number. 4- the initial contract was for Orange to provide 8 MB link speed to my home, however the speed was less than 1 MB, after several calls to Orange support line. Orange took the liberty to change their commitment from 8 MB per the signed contract to 4 MB without consulting their clients; Orange technical team stated that my area cabin can only provide max 4 MB connection, only then the speed improved to a range between 2 and 3 MB speed. 5- Trying to work with a bad situation and after encountering several outages and issues, many support calls were made requesting resolution, the call support representatives redirected us to the sale center where the reps were poorly sale oriented only and would not show any room to work on resolving the issues and at some point were very rude and threatened to call security as they refused to acknowledge preach of contract from their side by technically failing to deliver on the service level agreed to mutually when entering into the ISP service contract. 6- Lately the entire service not only was slower but frequently dropped and the router required rebooting and hard resets. 7- The outages and slow connection issues were again reported to Orange support line with low level support response and primitive steps designed to simply flip clients from one party to the other within Orange company. 8- After continuous support requests, Orange technicians reported various causes guessing bad physical lines from the cabin to the location, others as internal bad quality lines that needed to be replaced. 9- With each site visit, the ISP service improved temporarily then the re-occurrences of same issues of slow connections and repeated outages / drops of services. 10- The outages were repeatedly reported to several parties of the Orange customer parties with no permanent solution. 11- On multiple occasions objections to the monthly bills were submitted due to outages and bad service as Orange failed to deliver per the signed contract. 12- the phone land line and almost none existing ISP service was disconnected with refusal to pay for services NOT delivered. 13- Attempts to follow up with Orange to resolve the reported complaints failed as a customer service representative promised to submit a request to switch the land line service to wireless 4G option, however Orange continued to ignore this request and insisted on holding us to a yearly contract that Orange themselves have repeatedly failed to meet and deliver accordingly. 13- A case with the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission TRC was reported highlighting the above history to cancel any invoices for unacceptable service levels also cancel the remaining of the contract. 14- Last attempt to address and resolve the above mentioned experience at AlRabeyeh customer center lead to customer rep manager to again ignore Orange’s failure to deliver and demanded either payment or exit their showroom. Jordan Orange capitalizes on the clients’ good faith and trust in a global organization that failed at all levels to resolve our case. Our sincere advice and recommendation is to run from the Jordan Orange ISP contract TRAP that they will not hesitate to remind you that their clients that the main they worry about it ripping the client out his money for the error of entering into contract with Jordan Orange. The above mentioned disaster experience will not only cause me not to continue or repeat my mistake to get into any business engagement with Jordan Orange but also prepare for a legal and commercial confrontation with Jordan Orange to convey the message that they cannot get away with deceiving their clients, and expose their business practices to all to be wary and not get ripped off.
