Investment Scam Warning
CTI is a boiler room fraud. People are offered fake investment opportunity, if they answer a financial survey. CTI callers do not use their real names and call from secret location. Addresses they announce are virtual offices in business centres. They have counterfeited contracts and web content. If someone sends money to offshore bank for investment, even police cannot get it back, because criminals, victims, virtual offices and offshore banks each reside in different country. The Financial Services and Markets Authority FSMA in Belgium warns against CTI China Renaissance: According to the information available to the FSMA, the activities proposed could be of a fraudulent nature, i.e. boiler room fraud. More information on this form of fraud is available in the general warning published by the FSMA on 6 June 2017. The FSMA thus strongly advises against responding to any offer of financial services made by CTI China Renaissance and against transferring money to any account number it might mention. CTI China Renaissance uses the website www.ctimanagement.com (link is external), the email addresses i***@ctimanagement.com (link sends e-mail), n**********@ctimanagement.com (link sends e-mail), t******@ctimanagement.com (link sends e-mail), s****@ctimanagement.com (link sends e-mail) and r*******@ctimanagement.com (link sends e-mail), the phone numbers +1 64* 243 5084 and +82 2 6410 8008 and the fax numbers +1 64* 243 5085 and +82 2 6410 8257. It claims to have its registered offices in Canada (29th Floor, TD Canada Trust Tower, 161 Bay Street), South-Korea (26 Floor, 67 Suha-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul 100-210) and China (20 F, The Headquarters Building, No.168, Middle Xizang Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai). The firm also uses various bank accounts supposedly opened in the name of the following firm: XW Technology Hong Kong Limited. It appears, moreover, to have ties with Aichi BMO International (ABMOI), Toronto Sumitomo Trading International (TST International) and Woori Bridgewater Brokerage, firms that have also been the subject of a warning published by the FSMA, dated 5 April and 6 June 2017.
