I have been to the dealer multiple times for the same issue. I purchased a 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid in October 2010. Since April dealers have tried multiple times to fix the issue. The car has less then 7000 miles on it and the issue usually happens when I am traveling on the highway. A warning light comes on telling me to pull over immediately and the car looses power. I've been lucky that the car hasn't caused an accident since when the issue occurs the car rapidly looses speed. I live in State College but travel through Bloomsburg a lot. The first time this issue happened near Independence Ford they were very helpful and offered me a loaner car since I was stranded far from home. The second time this issue has happened near Bloomsburg I had just received the car back from State College Ford that morning as they made another attempt to fix the problem. A few hours after picking up the car the issue happened again as I was traveling through Bloomsburg. Independence Ford would not provide me a loaner car and told me to rent a car. I called customer care who agreed Ford should supply me with a rental car since I was stranded 110 miles from home. They were not authorized to provide me a car and tried to contact the local district manager who could authorize the rental. They were unable to reach the district manager. After an hour to an hour and a half of being on the phone with customer care it was after 5. The dealer and customer care offices close at 5 leaving me stranded away from home without transportation. I guess I shouldn't be surprised how Ford treats their customers based on the quality of their cars.
