Incompetent and non-caring service

I sold my car last Saturday in order to buy another car I took my check to the bank and they put in a 9 day hold on it. It started as a 7-Day hold and somehow turned into a 9-day hold and I explained to the people at the bank that I had to have money to buy a car or I wouldn't have a ride transportation to my job. I explain to them that I didn't know anything about a hold on any check I explained that I realized companies have rules and regulations and policies but I need transportation to my job. The branch manager never would talk to me face-to-face only relaying messages back and forth from the counter people and I told his people in a very nice way you don't seem to understand I have to have a car to get back and forth to my job I sold my car to get this money to get me another car and nothing was ever said about a 9 day hold on any check until I brought my check to this Bank. I also explained that if I didn't show up Monday that I would lose my job. I was at the bank when the branch manager walked outside she was walking to the back of the store and I tried to stop her and talk to her but she kept walking she really inform me of what her answer was and I told her you don't understand I told her she's very unprofessional and I would never do business with this bank again. Her excuse was she did not know how to and there was no way to verify if the check I deposited cleared the bank which it was written to. I had earlier called another Branch at the same bank and they said there was ways of verifying if that check cleared. As it stands now I will lose my job Monday and this is all due to a non-caring unprofessional God playing branch manager. I will never again do business with First Convenience Bank because of this
