Inability of the mechanic
We have a 2016 – porsche cayanne. 10/29/2018 – About 9 am, we heard a raising engine should from the garage. (This car was not used for 2 days). As we notice the car is making this kind of sound we opened the driver door and whatever was making the sound it shut off. Every time when we opened the door this blower motor automatically shuts off. Same thing kept repeating again and again for minimum 10 time. Though we thought it’s the car starting now we feel that it could be the blower motor. We towed the car to the nearest dealership. Unfortunately the mechanic was not able to find any error code. The same issie didn’t reoccur while its under their watch. So, they couldn’t find the reason for it or fix it. From the discussion with the service advisor, and reviewing the documents they were checking the engine and its errors. Though I have requested to the service manager to escalate this matter to the technical team, he states that with out an error code he cant not do it. I contacted porsche customer service #551****, they were strictly going by the mechanics word and was not able to escalate this matter to the technical team’s review and find the cause of this action. We are worried to keep the car in the garage due to the fear of have the bower motor starting at night or while we are away, and it may cause a fire or other damages to car as well our house and us.
