To my understanding when you sign up with a insurance company you are locked into that price until renewal. I had the insurance on my car and my grandson's. for 1 month. and the next month the rates went up over 100.00. I told the agent that this was ridiculous, and agrued with him. he told me if I take off my grandsons car it would be a lot cheaper.. (what kind of agent says this?) I told him to cancel the policy ASAP. next thing I know, im getting 2 bills in the mail from a collection agency for $60.85 each. no original bill, no phone call no nothing,,,, directly from a collection agency. this is BS is this how Shelter really works? wow! I have never in my life experienced such service as this. shame on me for thinking shelter was a good company. my policy was under Julie Hickerson/joey segura. I have expressed no good things about this insurance. I worked for Allstate for 9 years.. this was NOT good business.
