I was not allowed to make an important payment online
I have been a client of this bank for a very long time and have never encountered any problems with it. But a few days ago, an important transaction was blocked for me (I bought not very expensive equipment in an online store) without explaining the reasons. Previously, there were no such difficulties, my card allows me to make online payments by entering the card number, its expiration date and CVV on the payment systems of online sites. In order to make a payment, I had to call the bank’s support service and take a long time to answer all the operator’s control questions. As a result, I was told that not only the payment would not be made, but my card was blocked, and in order to unblock it, I need to contact the bank’s office with a passport and an account opening agreement. I understand that the bank’s services monitor the security of transactions, try to identify and block fraudulent transfer schemes or theft of money. But I don’t understand why clients should suffer from this! I still don’t understand why my card was blocked. It’s good that this issue was resolved in the office in 5 minutes, but I could not make a purchase on the Internet.
