I believe I was fired unfairly. I believe the date I was suspended was on 4/14/21. I was then called on 4/16/21, I believe that was the date, by HR, to tell me that I had been officially terminated. I tried to appeal my termination, but I was told that I could not appeal my termination, because I was a potentially violent employee. I am six feet tall and about 200 pounds of pretty much solid muscle. I workout all the time, and I have been told I look like an MMA fighter. THAT is why I got fired. Because of my APPEARANCE. In general, people are scared of me because they say I look like a fighter. Most of the young guys try to "challenge" me to try to act "tough" with me. I was in the military for 9 years, and I have a college degree. I was 53 years old then. I am a very confident and highly skilled man. I am not a boy, and I am not a weak person who is easily intimidated; I was in the Army. As far as the reason they said they terminated me, for being potentially violent, that is not the truth. If I were either a skinny, or overweight male, instead of a muscular male, I believe I would still have my job. I liked working at Amazon, and I was good at it, and also, if I could have had a couple of the managers who liked me, to speak on my behalf, I also think I would still have my job.
