I was able to get a new airline ticket booked through AirTkt after having one cancelled due to Covid in 2020.

It took a while, as I had trouble getting through to AirTkt to voice my legitimate claim to book a flight to replace the one cancelled. My advice -- if not at first successful, keep trying, as I did. I was given full credit from my cancelled flight for a new flight to Europe in September. Good luck! User's recommendation: I will book directly through the airlines in the future.
