Im an ex employee. I found a new job but as a part time. I want leaving Pollo. I was gonna split my hours and work in both places. Jacqueline Salinas was told by another employee that she should fire me, and she did. I was emailed by her and fired. Told to not come back. I have contacted Human Resources in regards to the things that happen inside the work place. While your on the inside, you see and hear a lot of things and keep quiet because you dont make that your business and because your afraid in a way to lose your job. But from the outside, I can say a lot about location #7845 W Hialeah Gardens Blvd. Certain employees are privileged. They come and go as pleased. Work wherever they want, eat whatever they want, where their masks if they want, their cap and even take smoke breaks if they want. On occasion even leave early. While others have to pick up the slack for those. The Main Managers in this location yell at their employees and mistreat them in front of other employees and customers. There is no professionalism of any sort. When their friends and family come over, they sit and eat and the rest of the employees work and cover. The employees are over worked and under paid and mistreated. Then you have the under cover employee, by the name of Josefa. She tells everyone handling out sauces to only give one Cilantro sauce to customers which is totally insane. She does this because she packs the sauces. She eats the left over churrasco at the end of the night and doesnt wear her mask most of the time. She will also stand by the employees and watches them and then reports everything to Jackie. She plays her radio and thinks she owns this restaurant. She never pays for her food. Shes dropped raw chicken when she does the prep, picks it up and puts it right back in the pot as if nothing has happened. Ive also seen both main managers do this. Litterally drop the entire marinating chicken bucket and cover the space so that customers wont notice and pick the chicken up and put it back. Unsanitary and unprofessional. They should At least wash the chicken first. A lot of employees have left and we have been understaffed for a long time, and they dont have any type of consideration for the ones working. All they want is speed, speed and speed. And all they do is yell at us. Im distorted with all this and it is giving me anxiety just knowing that all this has happened and no one does anything about it. User's recommendation: Don’t go here. You won’t get customer service.
