The Cleaning Authority was a huge disappointment! The cleaning staff was an hour late. For our initial clean, they were supposed to clean the house thoroughly so they could do maintenance for future bi-weekly cleaning. Two employees were here for 1.5 hours. The service cost me $80 per hour which is quite high for this type of service. When I got home, the place smelled clean; and that is where the clean ended. I found that they did NOT do the following cleaning: mopping the hardwood floors; move any furniture, for example, ottomans and trash cans when sweeping; sweep under furniture; one bedroom; vacuum the stairs (they swept the carpeted stairs); tub and shower in one bathroom; bathroom mirrors thoroughly; dust all of the living room furniture; move any kitchen counter appliances to clean under them - not even the crumbs under the toaster on the toaster tray. Basically, they did not do what they were hired to do. I called the company immediately; and they told me they would have a manager call me back. An office manager called me back within 10 minutes of the first call. I explained the situation. The response was that they would take $34 dollars off the bill; and send someone on Monday to clean. I explained that the reason I scheduled them on Fridays was to have my house cleaned on the weekends and to ensure the house was clean for company. The next solution was to email another manager with the information I had given the office manager and attach pictures. I did as requested. The office manager did apologize for me having to spend my afternoon cleaning. Bottom line...If you want a cleaning service that CLEANS, do not use this service! With the exceptions of the toilets and sinks, they just did the same surface clean I had done the day before prepping for the professional cleaners to come in. Well, I'm off to clean after having "cleaners", ha! P.S. If the company responds that they have looked up my information, and do not have record of me as a client...I have the cleaning agreement, witnesses and documented phone conversations.
