Horror story from Cheap Fare Guru. In February we bought 3 tickets from Cheap Fare Guru to travel internationally. The tickets were from Air Canada. The trip should have started on June 13 but Air Canada gave our seats to stand by "premium" customers and we were left behind. The plane left about 20 minutes ahead of scheduled time. We called Cheap Fare Guru and told them the situation and they said they'll contact Air Canada and call us back but we should go home because there is no other flights that then can reserve for us. Of course they did not call us back. Had to call few times and stay few hours on hold until someone tried to help and told us that Air Canada will refund our tickets price minus $450 a ticket (almost half of the cost). We said that we don't agree so will dispute the charge with the credit card. We disputed the charge and and after about a month we settled with Air Canada and we got a refund. Now we thought that even if our vacation was ruined, at least we got some money back... but then we saw ANOTHER charge of the full ticket amount from Cheap Fare Guru. We called them, and they said that because we started a dispute with Air Canada they had to charge us again and... and the'll be nice and refund us MINUS $450. Of course... we had to start ANOTHER dispute with the credit card... Now when I write this review is in the day we started the second dispute... I don't know yet what would happen, but take my advice and do not use them to buy tickets.
