This company is a SCAM! I had this company to 3 months and renewed with them after the food rates. This is the first month since I renewed and my bill is $410.26!!!! Last month it was $95. How could this be?? I heat my own with firewood mind you. Great american power, the great American scam...billed me $140 for “generation and transmission charges.” Plus ANOTHER $151.00 for a backbill of last month!!!! I’ve never had anything like this on my bill when I had PPL. The company said they had a “glitch” last month and the charge never got in the bill. It was also nEver mentioned when I called about my renewal. Luckily I called PPl and they are spreading out the charges to pay off. stay away from this company!!!!! They are a scam!!! As business practices and to them their mistake is yours. They lost a customer over greed and a mistake of their own. I will be going to the better business bureau about this company and it’s horrible business practices. Hope no one else falls victim to this.
