Horrible manager (Jack)

The day before yesterday I purchased a large container of mayonnaise at the frys (Mesa AZ RECKER AND MCKELLIPS) Ive been shopping at loyally for the past 10 years. Today my son was attempting to open it (the Mayo) when I noticed brownish crusty stuff all around the lid area. So I took a better look and sure enough it didnt look right (The color was brownish in the middle. . So I left the seal unbroken and went back to the frys to do an even exchange as this mayonnaise was clearly bad. I go to customer service, no one was there. I looked around and unfortunately caught the eye of the on duty manager (Jack). He approached me and asked what I needed. Now mind you, Ive had many very unpleasant encounters with Jack before, (sometimes I get stuck with him as the cashier) but I understand that not everyone is as happy go lucky as I am so, I have always just brushed his negative attitude off. But today, he went too far. I show him the plastic mayonnaise jar and start to explain, he very rudely interrupts me and says, dont open that in here (which I wasnt opening it I was simply trying to show him the color) you cant even bring that into this store get it out of here. I tried to explain the situation and he wouldnt even hear me out. I asked if there was someone else I could talk to and he said no. I tried to explain I wasnt needing money back or anything I just wanted to do an even exchange. He told me to leave promptly while saying, you dont even have a receipt how do I know you even bought that here ? So I Went to the frys down the road and explained the situation to that store manager. Yes, a manager that knows how to do her job! She did an even exchange for me with no questions asked. Jack should not be working in this line of work if he doesnt know how to interact pleasantly with customers. I have overlooked all the other times I had unpleasant experiences with him because I try not to let unhappy people bother me. But today he went too far, I couldnt overlook the fact that he doesnt even know his own stores policy or how to treat customers with respect, its called damage control Jack! Perhaps you need to be working in the back of the store if you hate peoples so much. By the way I forgot to mention, we have a family of ten that I cook for. Which means, we have been spending a lot of our hard earned money at this store for a very long time. I would think a jar of mayonnaise wouldnt be worth loosing such good customers over. User's recommendation: Avoid Jack at all costs.
