I recently visited belks in Decatur AL. I was at the makeup counter. I was looking at the Estee Lauder makeup. and I was prepared to spend quite a bit of money. however because of. covid. you can't match a person the way you use to. The young blond Whitney was so disinterested in helping me. after I was done with Estee Lauder I moved on to Clinique. being a lifelong Clinique user. I know for a fact that Clinique has a color wheel that will match you to your perfect shade of lipstick. when I asked Whitney to do this for me she said well yes they have that but it's not a perfect science it's all about what you prefer. this may be true but they do have that wheel to let you know what generally looks best with the shade of your skin she refused to show me this will or the lipsticks. I left immediately. I will go to Ulta. I will still more money there then I would have here just because how disinterested this young lady was. I will be back to Belk however if I see her behind the makeup counter again I will walk out. she needs to understand customer service and then without the customer not only did she not have a job. but belts will cease to exist. I completely understand that people have bad days. but I was more than friendly to her. I did not deserve the way I was treated.
