HOLLYWOOD BOWLSH!T

1

Last month we went to see Tony Bennett at the Hollywood Bowl. We had never parked there, but had gotten a "VIP" parking pass. Imagine our disappointment when that "special" pass took us to awful "Stack" parking. For those who haven't had the pleasure, "Stack" means they jam you in and you can't leave until the cars in front of you leave. Basically, you're STUCK with hardly ANY room between vehicles. After the show it was a mad dash to get out - no attendants in sight, in fact, another driver had to get out and gesture us out of our tight spot. Sure enough, next morning we found a sharp DENT on the side of our car from another car's door. I contacted the Bowl the next business morning and - surprise - they were "saddened" to hear of our damage, but since I drove off without telling them, I was out of luck. Buh-bye. Get this: they actually expect their "guests" to inspect their cars (by flashlight because it's 11 PM) then find someone to tell - all as 17,000 other drivers are trying to leave! Their customer service is non-existant, obviously the Bowl's concern for their guests ends as soon as money changes hands. I have been going to concerts for over 30 years - everyone from Sinatra to Springsteen and NEVER have I had a car get damaged. Do yourselves a favor - DO NOT PARK AT THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL. You stand a good chance of getting your car damaged and the Bowl won't lift a finger. :(
