Dear Sirs/Madam We have started a home delivery system in retail and wholesale groceries and are also engaged in providing free ration to covid affected families. We are customers of the Ashirvad brand for our domestic use ever since the launch. We had visited the distributor m/s maa kamakhya enterprises , siliguri for procurement of various grocery items at 8 AM on 17-05-2021 in view of the lockdown timings The supervisor Shri Chanchal saha present on the chair first refused to write down the order, then when he finally agreed he refused to take payment in cash, when we offered cheque that too was refused and to top it all he even refused to accept payment via NEFT. PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT OTHER PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED BY THE COMPANY ~ BITCOINS?? Sorry we can not pay in it. Later he went to the extent of advising us to buy products of some other company from elsewhere saying it could be availed at a better pricing than ITC. It may please be noted that the company staff of the distributorship are rampantly engaged in blackmarketing during the pandemic and even during the lockdown last year, they had been overcharging customers and refusing to give the bill. We the hapless customers have no solace. The current matter has been brought to the owner of the distributorship but there is no communication yet. It is ridiculous that people on the payrolls of your company are pushing your customers towards other manufacturers. The attitude not only drives away a customer but also hurts the reputation of a company for no fault . I on behalf of all the loyal customers of ITC in the region request you to kindly take an urgent look into the matter and put an end to such malpractices within your distributorship for the benefit of your consumers as well as to ensure that your sales are not reduced due to vested interests of some staff members.
