My wife was kind enough to purchase the man who has everything a Trakdot unit for his birthday (August) and conceptually what a great gift it was. Unfortunately, it did not function properly from the outset with delayed messaging and the like. A mass e-mail from the company recognized the problem forwarding a return label for replacement. After numerous e-mail enquiries and four months transpiring I received a new unit.... The new replacement unit functions even worse than the original unit it replaced with completely inaccurate gps and even more delayed messaging. Now, three weeks of complaints to the company's support go unanswered. I guess its okay if you only expect accuracy within 100 miles and are happy knowing that your baggage has arrived forty-five minutes after you already have it in hand?!?
