Please don't ever make the mistake of getting gas at the Express Pay Gas Station on Route 17 in Upper Saddle River! I went there on 1/25/10 (they were not busy) in a loaner car from the dealership where my car was being repaired. As it was a loaner that came with an empty tank, I only needed to replenish what I used. When the attendant asked what I wanted, I stated very clearly that I wanted $5 worth of regular and gave him my credit card. I then had to take a phone call, so didn't realize until it was too late that he had filled up my entire tank to the tune of $38.75! When he approached my window, I asked him what happened. He said that I told him "around $5", as if almost $40 was to be considered "around $5"!! He woudln't own up to his mistake, would not apologize, and acted like I was in the wrong. I didn't waste my time with him, but let him know that I would be complaining. These people are very dishonest and the customer service is terrible. On a bright note, the Chrylser Jeep dealership was nice enough to take 10% off of my bill in exchange for the full gas tank, which more than made up the difference - thank you Frank!
