Garlic
I do not understand why your company, which purports to source and support local producers, is importing garlic, allegedly organic, from China. I doubt whether the organic credentials of Chinese produce bear close examination and any organic benefit is absolutely negated by transporting the garlic across the world. Is it not possible to source garlic locally? There might be a price difference, but garlic is not a staple which would disadvantage those whose income is constrained and I would argue that this is one product where quality should win out over price. The quality of the Chinese garlic is very poor: soft and tasteless. I will be interested in your thoughts.
