This homebuilder is by far the worst I have ever encountered. They have filed $24,988,600 in building permits in the Atlanta market and will NOT honor the warranty and force the homeowner to file suit or arbitration. This Company will pay their attorneys to fight instead of repairing the warranty work! All Meritage has to do is contact their subs and send them out to repair and they would have happy customers. I have spent over $25k trying to get simple warranty work that Meritage agrees needs completed but they will NOT do it. Worst experience ever. User's recommendation: DO NOT PURCHASE MERITAGE OF GA HOMES.
