He was here at my house on February 14, 2022, and replaced my Central A/C Thermostat. He charged $750.00 instead of his estimate of $99.00 that he gave me over the phone. He told me that he takes only cash payments for this amount. I went to my bank with him and paid him $750.00 in cash. He did not come into the bank thus I asked him if he would come into the bank with me and he moved his car farther to avoid the bank's security camera. Back home, I found that the water was still dropping from my a/c that was supposed to be fixed. I called his cell at 954-588-0082 and told him that he did not finish the work. He said that he will send someone else to fix it. I paid the full amount to him already so I requested him to come back. Of course, no show. I am 83 years old woman living alone, I went along with what he said. I have contacted him several times but he was no show. Now, I am out of $750 in cash and the air conditioner still needs repair.
