I remember going to these great rib restaurants when I lived in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. This new place in Stuart is far and away what they should be. Ribs are 'chewy' ! They should be. .'fall off the bone'.. Food is cooked way too far ahead of time.. vegetables served like a bowl of soup...white and sweet potato hanging around the heat being kept warm so they are mush when you get them... Ordered a steak sandwich which was unable to chew. The whole front of the sandwich was yellow FAT ! The sandwich was riddled with gristle and when I called the little guy who was all over the place trying to handle the crowd ...He actually looked at the meat and said..'We buy that meat in one piece and slice it as needed'. To which I said 'How can you put this kind of food in front of anyone and expect them to eat it' ? They took the dog food meat away and removed it from the bill. Also ordered their ribs...least expensive $22. Half of what they used to serve. The ribs were firm on the bone. They are supposed to fall off the bone as tender as can be. They shouldn't have to be chewed to get to swallow them. We left most of our food on the plate and paid the bill . . tipped the very nice waitress who was ashamed of the food actually. . and said 'adios'. BUT ..the onion soup was delish !
