Faulty meter read, original read when service started was wrong, paying for the previous owners last 4 months of service because the final 4 months were estimated on the low end.,

Terrible customer service, refused to admit wrong doing, refused to help, also the supervisor, same thing. The supervisor then gave me a toll free number that did not exist, to the appeals department, which I also think does not exists. Refusing to reimburse me for the $500 plus dollars they stole from me, because they can just turn off the power, good thing that is now illegal. Thank you governor Cuomo, you are doing a great job with our current health crisis. User's recommendation: Seek your power from another company, you are allowed in the state of NY to purchase your electricity from different companies, we are just forced to pay a fee for the use of NYSEG infrastructure.
