Daniel who claims he is from Capital Recovery was extremely rude, and refused to give me a physical address of their location so I could send a check. Nor would he supply me with a Paypal, Venmo or other online payment system. He rudely insisted that my son give him his Credit Card or Debit Card number, and insisted that I do the same. Daniel claims they were tasked by University Orthopedics to claim a fee (less than $100) that was not paid by the medical insurance. If this is who University Orthopedics use to follow up on bills, I will take my business elsewhere and post on social media that other parents. professors and students do the same. I have no problem paying the money where I can track where it is going to, but to expect me to just hand over my Credit Card and Debit card number over the phone to someone who refuses to offer any verification or proof of who they are, and where they are located, is ludicrous in this day and age. No wonder they are reported as scammers on various online forums. And Daniel as a customer representative tried the classic intimidation tactics of shouting me down and threatening myself and my son's credit records, BUT Refuses to supply any online payment methods. Very sketchy. Concerned Parent
