Read reviews of this store and you will find some experiences are pleasant. The customer found what was asked for, the selection is the greatest in this part of the state and so forth. You will also find the staff can be arrogant, rude and dismissive. It is the old adage, "Take it or leave it, we are the only game in town.". As we know, many have left it. Online book sales has devastated the brand, couple that with the disgusting behavior of the manager and some staff as examples in Kennewick and you see failure or change looming. User's recommendation: If you can ignore rudeness and disrespect at Barnes and Noble Kennewick than you will have no problem. You may be fortunate and experience appropriate customer service. You role the dice. Most shopping does not need assistance except at the cash register. Even at the cash register customers have been criticized/accosted because the chose not to be a "member" of Barnes and Noble. Online shopping may be the future. It certainly beats rude managers and see staff.
