I just received my order of casement butt hinges with casement window locking mechanisms from van-dykes-restorers. I am extremely disappointed with this shipment and will be returning them. The hinges are from south africa. Each hinge, even within the same package, has a different metal thickness. Furthermore, the hinges are not flat, the sides have bends in them. Of the locking mechanisms, the packaging shows a lot of wear and one of the locks was missing from the package that was placed in my shipment. Thus, there is no quality control either in the products themselves (hinges) or in the packing for shipment (partially empty bag of parts packaged and shipped to me!). I have already called to have these returned.
