Excessive rust

On 4/8/21, I had to replace the oil cooler Transmission tubes on my 2015 Tacoma, with 27,000 miles. cause was excessive rust. this cost me over $1,000 dollars. they said it was not covered. On 5/5/21, I received a recall card from Toyota about excessive rust, and to bring it in for service. Shouldn't the replacement tubes for the transmission be covered under this recall? My last Tacoma 2002, completely rusted away, oil pan, all exhaust parts etc. even after recall, and frame cleaning I traded it in for the 2015, to get away from this. I am very disappointed in Toyota, this is my 7th Toyota. User's recommendation: They only cover the frame. Any parts that rust that are related are not coveted.
