Eleven James Watch Your Back and Wallet! Total Scam!

1

Was a member of Eleven James, a "high end" watch rental club where they advertise a large collection of watches to rent through the club, but mysteriously every month none of the watches on the website in the collection are every available. Here is how this scam of a membership club works, they bring you in as a entry level member at a low cost and promise you access to higher end watches then when you realize you are paying $399 a month for a tag huerer or a basic Rolex, then you are forced to upgrade to to the next highest tier which is $599 or $699 per month or higher to have access to the better quality watches in their collection. Eleven James's customer service is AWFUL, not only do they over promise and under deliver, they promise to "reserve" certain watches for you and then when its ready for you to trade watches when your cycle is up, that watch is mysteriously not available. Here is another component of how this scam works, after renting a watch for three months at $699 per month, after you turn it in and wait for your new watch a customer service rep will reach out and claim that the watch has been damaged and charge your credit card WITHOUT your permission for $1,000.00 to cover a "damaged, cracked or scratched Bezel". Oh when you ask to see evidence of the damage they send you a blurred photo shopped picture of the watch with "damage" on it, even though you thoroughly inspected the watch and took your own photographic evidence of the watch prior to turning it in. And when you challenge them on this and ask to see the watch in person, the customer service person Adrian Conlon or Steve Schaller lie to you and tell you that the watch is already in service or that the damage is already fixed. Then when you call BS on their scam they kick you out of the club, even after you have been a loyal member for three consecutive years and were paying $699 to be in their "Virtuoso" level membership club. I also question whether all of their watches are authentic. I rented their White Gold Rolex Skydweller and several friends that are true watch aficionados questioned the validity of the watch. It wouldn't surprise me if they bait and switch and advertise a real watch and rent out the replicas without their members knowledge. My advice is do not trust this company, save your money and buy your own watches. They do not treat their members with respect, its all a money grab.....
