We had a Dura-Loc metal roof installed on our home in the summer of 2004 with the promise of a high performing roofing system and a 50 year life warranty and a guarantee against defects and rust. The shingles have lost their granular and are rusted. The manufacturer informed me they are the new owners of Dura-Loc and as the new owner do not honour the warranty. They call themselves AllMet and if you look at their web page they offer the same product and same warranty. If they will not honour the original warranty why would anyone think they would honour the warranty they offer under their new name or for that matter when the product fails the same as before will they change their name/ownership? again.
