So 69 days ago I ordered about $4245 in parts from dtt. I was told at that time by a friendly woman named Shanti that my parts, with the exception of the converter, would ship right away. I was told to expect a two week build time, plus a week for delivery to them, and then the delivery to me ( in northern BC) after that. So I waited. Then I waited some more. Then I sent a friendly email asking where things were at. I got a response saying that they were waiting for some clutches. Funny, I thought you said those were in stock. Hmmm... Oh well. So then I get a delivery. It is the clutches and misc rebuild parts. So, I assume that my pan, flexplate, billet input will follow within a few days. Waiting.... So a week or so later I send another couple emails. Eventually I get a response, and in it she blames their suppliers for not sending things. I respond with the initial conversation where she told me that things were in stock. She does not respond. I call and leave a message. No response. I leave another. No response. After a few weeks, I finally get my pan, flex, and input. Great. I email and leave messages about an ETA on the converter. Surprise surprise, no response. So I dig up Stefen's cell number. Call him up. Seems friendly and eager to help. He says he in on the road and asks me to text him my info so he can get to the bottom of it. Cool! Days later. Oh.... Wait for it... Nothing! I call back again, and am told to call back on Sunday afternoon when he would be at the shop. I agree. As it turned out I wasn't able to make the call in the afternoon. So I texted and asked for the update that way. Nothing. So today, I called and left a message with language and expression of frustration that I only feel on the rarest occasions when I feel that I am being, not only taken advantage of, but that people are making a game out of making my life a lot more frustrating than it needs to be. So Stefan, if you read this (or Shanti or Bill for that matter) I would like to know what is going on, where is the converter that I ordered 69 days ago, and what are you willing to do to make this right. Just this morning I contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute to get my money back, so that I can order the part elsewhere.
