I loaded my dryer last night with cotton towels. I went to bed. This morning I woke up to a horrible smell and went out into my garage and the smoke was so thick you could not see your hand in front of your face. I know it is no longer in warranty but its only two years old and nearly burned my house down. Has there been any sort of recall or safety notice issued? I don't smoke and there were no open flames anywhere. This is quite dangerous. I unplugged it and put it out with a garden hose. Thanks much for your interest, Bart Crattie
