I cashed two checks from an employer and there was a problem with the transaction going through. Out of nowhere, BOK then charged me the FULL balance of both checks PLUS two return fees to my checking account. I contacted the person who wrote me the checks and they said the money was pulled out of their account as well. When I called (3 separate people) they told me that even though I had NO WAY OF KNOWING they wrote me bad checks, it is now my responsibility. My account was overdrafted and accumulated hundreds in overdraft fees for something I had no control of. I would simply just get the money from the check writer, but they were charged as well! BOK charged the full balance from both of the checks TWICE and would do nothing to fix it! If that's not illegal I don't know what is!! I am still screwed and it's not the first time by them. I will never recommend this bank to anyone.
