Don’t believe the hype, don’t take the pressure

Purchased engagement ring stone in port on February 20th 2020 m, while on vacation, for my fiancé. They glued the stone in the wrong way and gave us a receipt that we could get it turned the correct way on the Carival ship we were traveling on. Once back on the ship we took it to the Jewelers there and they said they were not able to do this and they don’t communicate to any jewelers at that port. At a closer look once back to the US we notice it was not a real diamond and they must have shown me a real diamond and put a fake CZ in while they were changing the old CZ stone out of the ring we purchased in the US. I thought it would be nice to finally replace her stone with a real diamond but the one that replaced the old setting looked worse and they messed up her white gold ring in the process. Not only do I have to buy another stone yet again, I also have to get the actual ring fixed because they damaged it badly with glue, deep scratches and bent a prong holding the fake stone in as well. I talked them down from $700 for the stone and ended up paying $375. Hoping the bank will refund as this is fraud!!
