Distro Keeps Saying Number not valid

My phone is a real number and obviously working. For some reason it won't let me verify my phone. It keeps saying number not valid. But I'm making calls and texting as we speak and my number is definitely LEGIT. My service provider is Boost mobile does that have anything to do with it? I can't do nothing without verifying that number.
