DISSATISFACTION WITH FIRESTONE TIRES

1

I took my 2017 Jeep Cherokee in for service at the dealership a week ago. I was told the tires are dry rotted. They have 24,400 miles on them. Firestone said tires were manufactured in summer 2016, therefore the four-year warranty period is over, even with such a low amount of miles on the tires. Neither Firestone nor the dealership would do anything to help me. Warranty designed to protect the manufacturer not the consumer. consumer. the consumer. manufacturer manufac User's recommendation: Stay away from Firestone tires. My tires had 24,400 miles. Tires dry rotted. Warranty had expired. No recourse for the consumer. The warranty protects the manufacturer and the dealership, not the consumer.
