Disgusted with part availability

I have a 2006 M 45,4.5 L, V8, it needed a new alternator and new valve covers, we searched high and low for 3 days online for valve covers it is impossible to find these anywhere. After 3 days we ended up ordering them from the Kansas City dealership on either Thursday the 4th or Friday the 5th, the lady first said they would be delivered on Tuesday the 9th and then said no it will be Wednesday the 10th, we are in Topeka Kansas, about an hour or so from the dealership. This is a joke and unacceptable, there is no reason these shouldnt have been able to be ordered online or through an auto parts store. I will never own another Infiniti.
