Based on the fact that probably 95% of us who watch tennis play tennis ourselves as have I (50 years), I am disappointed when I see your camera crew do the following: 1. Shooting from ground- or nearly ground level behind a player so we cannot see half of a point played. It seems to us that the second cameraman videoing from this vantage point is doing your viewers a disservice. At the Volvo Car tournament on Daniel Island, the primary cameraman was so far behind the baseline, although a slightly elevated, we could not see the ball at all on the other side. I realize the stadium is being renovated and one had to make do, but it was very frustrating to watch half of all points! My husband and I were disappointed to see so many mens matches on clay this past week and almost none of the more important ladies matches. Being a female, I prefer the ladies matches because personally the ladies are much more interesting and I believe ladies tend to watch more tennis on television. When Ash Barty beat Sabelenko today for the championship, we were very disappointed that TC immediately left that screen before their speeches and prize-giving for the Nadal - Tsitsipas venue before these opponents had even taken to the court for their 5+ minute warm up. One other thing I would recommend is a little less constant meaningless commentary from the extra person on the set. We players/viewers usually figure it out for ourselves! If I have sent this to the wrong department, please pass it to the appropriate department.
