24 Hour Fitness is the worse gym organization I have ever been involved with. Overall, the facilities are filthy, with dirt and grime around floor mats and equipment becoming thicker and thicker. Staff are few and never address issues brought to their attention. Management would rather argue and threaten physical violence (19th Street, Costa Mesa location) rather than attempt to solve problems. Over the years I have adopted a strategy of changing gyms whenever possible to take advantage of remodeling, refurbishing, and new gym openings. This is the only way to use one of 24 Hour Fitness gyms that may be somewhat clean, but of course, it doesn’t last long. This organization is very clear in their business model and management training; to treat their customers as temporary and expendable. This company displays the worse of the worse in customer care. If you can avoid this organization and join a different gym, it is in your best interest to do so.
