I sent for my mother's birth certificate last year in February (February 2020). I received an email that said due to the pandemic, it may take longer to receive the certificate. I understood and waited. I sent an inquiry in September 2020, alerting them that I had not received the certificate. I again received a return email saying that due to the "pandemic" it was taking longer to process the information. I was fine with that since mine was just for family records. This year in February I contacted them again asking for a status update and was told that the request was too old, and I needed to start over and pay the fees again. again. . I still have all correspondence from them.
