Did not get all my points

I applied for their Delta Sky Miles card with the offer of 70k reward miles, I only received 50k and Amex will not give me the remaining 20k because they claim I clicked on a 50k miles offer. I've been back and forth with Amex for a few months to no avail. User's recommendation: Call and apply in over the phone.
