I needed a TMJ coil MRI as stated by a maxillofacial surgeon, Ambetter denied coverage. The MRI (self paid) showed TMJ issues. Now I am trying to find an Orthodontist for a splint that takes Ambetter and even though my policy states that 2 TMJ visits are covered the providers on their list will either not take new patients, do not take Ambetter. Somebody that knows what they are doing at Ambetter please contact me! User's recommendation: Thus far I would not recommend this company.
