Delivery misinformation and lack of customer support

I ordered a computer with a shipping time of 3-6 business days. I ordered it from the place I was staying for 3 weeks since i would be there far longer than the delivery time. TigerDirect didn't process my order for 3 days and I realized it would be cutting it close, but I still had several days to spare. I decided to call and change the delivery to my home. Their customer service was down, and I could not get through fore several days. When I did finally get them, they informed me it was too late and there was nothing that could be done, the package would be delivered to the address 2 days AFTER I had to leave. I am not sure what happens now. User's recommendation: Go some other place even if it is a few dollars more. At least you might actually receive your package.
