Defective ink cartridge

Was put on hold 3 different times by 3 different agents and then was hung up on. No resolution to getting a replacement hp61 black ink cart. Hp complicates the issue by trying to diagnose my printer. The printer is fine, the issue is that I was sold a defective cartridge with no ink to print and I simply want a replacement cartridge that works!!!!!! User's recommendation: The site is set up to fail and frustrate the customer.
