My double oven has been serviced three times for the same problem. Its a propane oven that shorts out and blows the igniter. The short is so strong it blows *** in the heat shield. The customer service or the lack of is so bad. No one really cares Now there is no longer parts available to fix my oven. GE doesnt even bother to help let you know the unit is no longer being made due to the defects. Leaving you to spend another $2000 for a replacement oven. GE customer service leaves you hanging on hold for hours hoping you go away. A junk yard wouldnt take GE User's recommendation: Don’t buy GE.
