Death of my pet

I signed up Banfields plan and couldnt even get them to see my dog for over a week when she was having breathing issues on a Sunday morning and they were open. I took her to emergency vet who diagnosed her with pneumonia and told me to follow up with my vet in two days. I called them the very next day (Monday) and still couldnt get her in. They actually told us that if I took her to the ER vet that theyve done everything they could do. I ended up taking her to a new vet on Wednesday who said she was on double the dose of veteroyl she should have been, her skin issues that I took her to Banfield 5xs for in the last 2 months were thyroid related, and she didnt have pneumonia but rather heart failure. I made the heart breaking decision to let her go that afternoon. Called Banfield to cancel an appointment for her skin issue and after going there for over 2 years not even so much as a card. All they care about is their money, not the health of your pet. I should have gotten another opinion months ago and maybe my dog would still be here.They will not even cancel the last 4 months of payments for a dog that is no longer here. They are uncaring and disgust me. User's recommendation: Don’t go here.
